I’m done…I think.
I think I am finished with this semester! I am unsure, however, because I am waiting to hear from one of my grad professors about whether my final paper was well-written enough to get me an A in the class.
If it wasn’t, then I get to revise. I’ve been stalking Blackboard for the past couple of days along with my email, hoping to hear back.
I’m not nervous either way; if I have to revise, that’s fine, I just want to get it out of the way so my break can truly begin! I haven’t started reading any books or seriously diving into Netflix because I don’t want my brain to shut off just yet.
Which also means I haven’t gone into crazy sleep mode either. I leave for LA on Sunday and that is when my brain will hit vacation mode. I can’t wait to taste my mom’s cooking, sleep in my comfy bed, and be around my family. With all of the stress that usually comes about in the fall, I crave my parent’s warmth and love.
So what are your winter break plans??
Here’s a rough sketch of mine:
Reading:
-The Host
-Safe Haven (Nicholas Sparks, I know, but his writing is good, no matter how much he knows that lol)
-Mainline
-The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest (I need to finally finish it!)
Watching:
-The Walking Dead (I’m the only person on campus who hasn’t seen this show, I think. I’m on the season finale of season 1 right now)
-Drop Dead Diva
-Downton Abbey
Writing/Editing:
-My novel that has been sitting on my desk since October needs to be edited
-Untitled film project (my boyfriend and I are doing this together
SLEEP!!!
I probably won’t get to half of the stuff on this list, but I like to aim high when I’m on vacation.
Happy Holidays

Nice of them to let you revise for an A. Hope you get it first try anyway!

Alexia, I finished season one and two of The Walking Dead just last week. Now I’m jonesing for season 3 with no access to it! And my brain has shut off, so I hope I don’t get any emails that ask me to turn it back on.
Enjoy the break.

Kara, thank you, I hope I get it the first try too!
Michael, this show is so addicting!! I just started season 2. The episodes aren’t on Hulu? What about huluplus? You can sign up for a free trial for 7 days and then delete it, that’s what I always did
I am keeping my fingers crossed for the both of us that I don’t get any emails, the best written work I can do these days would resemble the LOL cats website!

Catch up is what I am looking for too. Reading books I just can’t seem to get to during the school year, watching TV shows that can just turn my brain to mush, and sleep, oh how I miss sleeping in.
